Job Description

Your Day-to-Day: A Highly Strategic Role for Partnership and Business Growth

This role plays a pivotal part in driving ELMO's overall business growth through high-impact partnerships. You will be at the forefront of developing and executing strategies that significantly expand our market reach and enhance our value proposition.

The key areas of responsibility include:

  • Planning and Partner Relationship Management: Lead strategic development and execution of partner plans aligned with ELMO's vision, cultivate high-level partner relationships as a key advisor, drive regional growth through partner initiatives, and ensure seamless product integration for customer satisfaction. Requires deep market understanding and alliance-building skills to create business value.
  • Business Development and Go-To-Market Initiatives: Lead joint go-to-market strategies to penetrate new markets and drive revenue growth. Spearhead joint marketing campaigns, develop sales enablement programs, and lead proposal development. Requires identifying market opportunities, aligning partner capabilities, and creating innovative solutions.
  • Operational Execution and Performance Management: Provide strategic oversight to partner operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Take ownership of projects, facilitate strategic communication, contribute to sales against targets and identify expansion opportunities. Leverage data to optimize partnership performance and ROI.
  • Leadership and Relationship Management: Provide leadership to build and maintain strong, influential relationships with stakeholders and partners. Lead cross-functional initiatives, align internal teams with partner goals, and ensure plan execution. Serve as a thought leader, stay ahead of industry trends, and strategically influence to drive partnership success and business growth.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous).
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in vendor management, alliance management, or partnership development.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, alliance management, or partnership development within the IT sector is essential.
  • Proven sales track record with experience in channel business models and strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to relate business issues to IT initiatives and understand industry dynamics.
  • Capability to develop and implement strategic plans that align partners with organisational goals.
  • Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of joint projects.
  • Strong presentation skills, adaptable to varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, independence, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in business planning and market analysis.
