ELMO Software Pty Ltd is seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to join our Engineering team at our Head Office in Sydney. This is a permanent, full-time position for a talented individual who is passionate about software development and eager to contribute to our innovative projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Writing clean, efficient code based on specifications and requirements.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems.
- Conducting performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
The main tasks of the role include:
- Contributing to the planning and estimation of project deliverables.
- Working closely with product management and other teams to understand detailed requirements.
- Producing technical specifications and determining operational feasibility.
- Maintaining high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
- Assisting in peer code reviews to ensure the implementation aligns with the architecture principles and best practices.
