Job Description
Job Description:
We are looking for an Experience & Process Architect (AI-Enabled) for a high-impact, 3-month contract with a build-and-transfer mandate. In this role, you will rethink how People & Culture operates in an AI-enabled organisation, designing end-to-end HR experiences that combine process design, agentic AI, and manager-led workflows.
Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you’ll partner with the P&C team to reimagine how HR work gets done in an AI-enabled organisation by designing end-to-end employee journeys, embedding agents into workflows, and being deliberate about where humans stay in the loop and where automation takes over.
Key Responsibilities:
Design end-to-end HR experiences: Map current-state processes and redesign them into simplified, manager-led, AI-enabled flows using the ELMO HR platform.
Build the agent layer: Translate workflows into agent-enabled steps including automation, prompts, and decision support.
Process Design: Treat our people processes as a dynamic, living system and define success measures such as time saved, quality, and adoption.
Enable manager self-service: Redesign processes so managers can initiate and progress work independently, reducing reliance on HRBPs.
Create scalable foundations: Develop reusable templates and provide knowledge transfer to the P&C team to continue the work post-contract.
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills & Experience:
This is a first-of-its-kind, high-impact role designed for a forward-thinking, process-orientated AI advocate. While we are looking for a specific blend of technical and process design mastery, the ideal candidate will bring a background that could include:
Process Design: Strong experience in process design, service design, or operating model design.
AI & Automation: Experience working with agentic AI, copilots, or workflow automation tools.
HR Exposure: Exposure to HR or People processes with a high level of curiosity regarding functional expertise (Desired, not essential)
Systems Thinking: Ability to think in systems rather than just steps, simplifying complex processes into intuitive experiences.
Pragmatism: Ability to balance innovation with pragmatism to build tools that actually get used.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong engagement skills with senior leaders and HR teams.
Coaching: Ability to train and coach others with innovative workflow uplift.
Excellent communication: Must be able to educate and translate technical requirements and workflow agent design for a broad range of People & Culture (P&C) stakeholders.
Adaptive Mindset: Comfortable working in ambiguity and building from first principles.
