Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic Sales Operations team and become a key driver of our growth. Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated pricing strategies that maximize our revenue and profitability.

You'll dive deep into market trends, analyze competitor pricing, and dissect customer behavior to identify opportunities and build winning pricing models. Your work will directly influence business decisions and contribute to our overall success.

What you will be doing…

  • Pricing Strategy & Analysis: Develop and maintain pricing models for products/services, conduct comprehensive competitor pricing analysis, and monitor pricing performance.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Create and maintain pricing dashboards and KPI reports, perform statistical analysis on pricing data, and generate regular reports on pricing performance and revenue impact.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with sales teams, marketing, and finance to develop competitive pricing strategies, and support product management with go-to-market pricing recommendations.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing changes, research industry pricing trends, and analyse customer segmentation.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and refine pricing methodologies, implement pricing automation, and mentor junior analysts.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related field, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or related analytical roles.
  • Previous experience in pricing strategy or revenue management.
  • Industry-specific experience relevant to the company's sector preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, and statistical software (R, Python, SAS).
  • Experience with supporting pricing within CPQ software.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling techniques.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with regression analysis, forecasting, and predictive modelling.
  • Understanding of microeconomic principles and pricing theory.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in pricing.
  • Experience with machine learning applications in pricing.
  • Knowledge of revenue management systems.
  • Experience in subscription or SaaS pricing models.
  • International pricing experience.
