Job Description

About the opportunity..

The core responsibilities of the Salesforce Administrator includes but is not limited to:

Salesforce Administration & Configuration:

  • Administer and configure Salesforce, ensuring the platform is optimized to support the evolving needs of the business.
  • Manage user setup, permissions, profiles, and security settings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, providing ongoing support to ensure smooth platform operation.

Workflow & Process Automation:

  • Build and maintain custom workflows, process builders, and flow automations to streamline business processes and improve productivity.
  • Implement and manage approval processes, task assignments, and email notifications to ensure efficient sales and service operations.
  • Automate routine tasks and complex processes to eliminate manual work and reduce errors.

Customization & Custom Development:

  • Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and record types to meet business requirements.
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and list views to provide actionable insights for users and leadership.
  • Utilize advanced features like Salesforce Flow, Apex triggers, and Visualforce pages to create custom solutions and integrations when needed.

Integration & Data Management:

  • Assist in integrating Salesforce with third-party applications and systems to ensure seamless data flow and enhanced functionality.
  • Maintain data quality through regular data cleansing, deduplication, and importing/exporting data from Salesforce.
  • Monitor and manage data integrity to ensure accurate reporting and decision-making.

User Training & Support:

  • Conduct training sessions for Salesforce users, helping them understand and fully leverage Salesforce features and automations.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials to support end users.
  • Provide tier-1 and tier-2 support for Salesforce-related issues, collaborating with other departments to resolve complex problems.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that improve workflows and efficiency.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and end-users to continuously improve Salesforce functionality.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, applying new capabilities to enhance business operations.

Reporting & Analytics Support:

  • Support the team with custom reports and dashboards and with data definitions.
  • Work with the internal teams in data cleansing and bulk updates/imports within Salesforce.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a solid understanding of both standard and advanced Salesforce features.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) certification or other relevant certifications.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce automation tools (e.g., Process Builder, Flow Builder, Workflow Rules) and building custom solutions using Apex, Lightning components, or Visualforce.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and understanding of Salesforce best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce security and data sharing models.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and configuration options.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using tools like MuleSoft, APIs, or middleware platforms.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce AppExchange and experience implementing third-party apps.
  • Experience with data management tools (e.g., Data Loader, Dataloader.io) and data quality processes.
