Job Description

Reporting to the Training Manager (ANZ) the Systems Trainer is responsible for the development and maintenance of training and resources and for facilitating training sessions (webinar and face-to-face) for customer system administrators.

The Systems Trainer will support the effective uptake, understanding and deployment of ELMO’s Cloud HR & Payroll offerings through the delivery of contextualised training.

As the successful applicant, you will be directly involved in taking our training offering to the next level through developing our content catalogue, enhancing the face-to-face experience and ensuring we remain at the forefront of SaaS training.

 

The core role of the Systems Trainer includes but not limited to:                                               

  • Gaining and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of ELMO products
  • Developing training material, including eLearning modules, knowledge articles, assessments, wikis and video tutorials
  • Facilitating online and face-to-face training
  • Working with the product team to keep up-to-date on, document and communicate product enhancements
  • Maintaining the currency of training resources
  • Participating in internal training initiatives to up skill other staff members
  • Conducting training needs analysis
  • Ensuring adherence with all published ELMO quality control standards and procedures
  • Maintaining all records associated with training delivery
  • Representing ELMO in all client communication in a manner befitting the Company’s professional expectations
  • Logging and maintaining records of all system-related troubleshooting (system errors, unexpected outcomes)
  • Identifying and communicating suggestions for potential enhancements to functionality and capability
  • Achieving individual and team KPIs as outlined in Performance Plans, as negotiated
  • Participating in and delivering outcomes for other projects as may from time to time be assigned
  • Ensure compliance with ELMO’s information security privacy policies and procedure

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate qualification (HR, Business, Business Systems, IT and disciplines preferred
  • Experience in training and assessing (Cert IV Training and Assessment a preference)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to suit a wide range of people and contexts
  • A strong systems mindset, capable of working with SaaS solutions
  • Customer service ethic and focus; client driven
  • Dedicated team player, with an ability to work autonomously
  • Performance and solutions-oriented
